Your bill comes two business days after your ‘Electricty/Gas bill coming’. Your bill includes a breakdown of your usage and charges, Powerpack purchases, carbon emissions offsets and a detailed PDF statement of your bill - the lot!

These are the dates included in the billing period for this bill, so you know exactly what days are covered.

This is the status of your account following your billing period transactions. Your account will either be 'all paid up' (if you have grabbed enough discounted Powerpacks in advance) or it will specify the 'amount owing'. If you have an amount owing you will be debited at Auto Pay rates up to 13 business days from receiving your bill. We’ll confirm the date the amount will be debited here too; we’re all about keeping you in the know.

Your usage summary details your usage during the billing period, the kilowatt hours supplied during this period and what you paid to cover this usage after Powerpack discounts. Here we show you what Powerpacks you’ve used during this period and the cost of these. This might be a mixture of monthly specials, Power Savers or even the Mega Pack, depending on what you’ve purchased.

This graph gives you a month to month snapshot of your usage, so you can see how your usage changes throughout the year. We then break this down in a handy comparison from one year to the next, letting you know how you’re tracking and if you’re using less or more energy. You can use this info to help you use less energy and save some coin.

As Powershop 100% carbon offsets our customer’s energy use, we provide details on your carbon emissions during the billing period and confirm that we have offset these emissions with Certified Emission Reduction units, keeping you green as Gumby.

This useful comparison helps you to keep up with the neighbours, comparing daily energy consumption over this billing period to other households with the same number of people in your area. Who doesn’t love a little healthy competition!

This lets you know your current and previous meter readings and the quantity of kilowatt hours used between those readings. If you have a smart meter this is all automatic. If you have a basic meter, you can enter a reading to get a more accurate estimate!

We send you an email two days before your bill arrives called (unsurprisingly) 'Electricity/Gas bill coming'. We do this so you can jump into your account and grab some savings before your bill arrives. You’ll only get this email if you’re not already paid up for the billing period OR if we only have an estimated meter read for your property (this only affects customers without a smart meter).

This is the date your Powershop bill will be emailed, so you know exactly when to expect it. No surprises for you!

This outlines the dates included in this billing period and how many days of energy you are behind for that period. For example, if 'you're short by 29 days' jump into your account and grab enough of a Powerpack to cover you for those 29 days.

We always suggest a Powerpack you can buy to cover your outstanding balance (if you have any – if you’re all paid up, you’re all good!) We tell you what you will save if you grab this Powerpack compared to Auto Pay rates. You’re always better off buying a discounted Powerpack rather than paying Auto Pay rates.

If you don’t jump online or into the Powershop app before the date your bill arrives and purchase enough discounted Powerpacks to cover the amount you owe, don’t worry, we’ll automatically buy Auto Pay rates to cover this bill, and we’ll charge this to your preferred payment method within 13 business days after this date. We’ve gotcha covered!
