From 14 May, we’re changing up the name of the Account Review to be referred to as the Bill. Makes sense, hey! We’ll be working to change this across our whole platform – some areas will change a little faster than others, but rest assured we’re working on it. Here are some A’s to any Q’s you might have about this change:
We send you a bill once a month. This will show you the Powerpacks you’ve purchased through the month or in advance and if there is any outstanding amount owing on your account, we’ll cover it with an automatic purchase of the Top Up Pack.
Your Powershop bill is an email with an attached PDF.
Two days before you’re due to receive your Powershop bill, we’ll email you if you haven’t bought enough Powerpacks to cover all of you usage for the month, or if we only have an estimated meter read. This email is called ‘Electricity/Gas bill coming’.

There are a few ways you can pay: by credit card, by direct debit, by BPAY.
When you buy power yourself from the Shop, the money will be debited from your credit card or bank account immediately.
How do I know when payment will be taken from my credit card or bank account? - Read more
Yes you can. If a scheduled payment date (a payment on your account triggered by Powershop) doesn’t suit, you can change the date.
You can nominate either a direct debit or credit card as your preferred payment method. We’ll then use this payment method when an auto-payment is created on your account (for example when you buy a Powerpack).
What is my preferred payment method and can I change it? - Read more
Yes. If you change your mind about buying a Powerpack you have 48 hours to refund the purchase yourself.
You can add money to your Powershop account anytime you like.
