Digital Marketing Specialist

Develop and execute creative digital communications by analysing trends to grow customer acquisition.

  • Drive customer acquisition and leads through digital and partner channels;
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives within digital channels

What you'll do:

Working as a key part of our fast paced customer team as our new Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for helping us acquire new customers through paid, owned and earned digital channels. Working closely with our Marketing Manager and in collaboration with our agency partners, you will be part of developing and executing our digital strategy and promotions which will involve conceptual thinking, working with the team to drive leads and trying new initiatives. You’ll also need to analyse and interpret data in relation to current market trends, audience, device type and scope of social media efforts to Increase website traffic.

What you'll need:
  • Experience working in the digital marketing and comms strategy space including using major ad platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads manager, Facebook Ads Manager;
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Hotjar heatmap tools (or similar), and spit tests. You’ll need to strategically assess, analyse and optimise against performance based metrics;
  • To independently generate and grow leads through creative digital promotions, including warm lead management and creating customer journeys;
  • To be able to develop a digital advertising approach in collaboration with digital media agencies (including display, programmatic, SEO, SEM, YouTube / On-demand);
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with a variety of partners including creative agencies, digital media channel as well as the wider Powershop team. You’ll also be able to work autonomously and drive new ideas and solutions;
  • A love for innovative digital solutions and problem solving as well as a positive attitude, work ethic and passion for learning and constant improvement;
